Abbeydale Singers have won many first prizes at festivals.
In 2001 we entered the Newcastle Under Lyme Festival where we made a clean sweep of the choral classes for the second year in succession.
The previous year's achievement led to an invitation to represent the festival at the prestigious Millennium Festival in Leeds where we brought the curtain down (we were the last performers!). This was also our one hundredth concert.
